Position: Speech-Language Pathologist

Position Description
Small, therapist-owned contract company seeking a qualified clinical fellow speech language pathologist to work with students in an elementary school setting (preschool- grade 4) located 45 miles north of Indianapolis. This position provides a unique opportunity to work under the supervision of the SLP who has held this position for the past ten years; having first-hand knowledge of the caseload schedule and dynamics of the school staff, students, and families will provide invaluable insight and decreased stress for the CF. Potential option to work one day per week with middle school/high school students, only if desired. A large speech room shared with one other SLP is stocked full of updated, relevant materials. Working alongside a fellow SLP (other than supervisor) several days per week provides opportunities for connection and professional collaboration.
Job Requirements:
- Write and implement compliant IEPs per Article 7
- Attend IEP case conferences
- Complete evaluations in order to identify eligibility, needs, and services
- Possess strong communication, time management, and team collaboration skills
- Work amicably with staff, students, and parents
- Adhere to professional and ethical standards
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited school
- Registered as Clinical Fellow through ASHA and State of Indiana
