Job Title: Speech-Language Pathologist

Description:
We are seeking a qualified and dedicated Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) to provide high-quality speech and language services to students in Indiana public schools. The ideal candidate will assess, diagnose, and treat students with speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders. The SLP will work collaboratively with educators, parents, and school staff to support student success.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct speech, language, and hearing screenings and assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized education programs (IEPs) in accordance with federal and state regulations.
- Provide direct therapy services to students in individual and group settings.
- Collaborate with teachers, parents, and multidisciplinary teams to support student communication needs.
- Maintain accurate records and progress reports for each student on caseload.
- Participate in IEP meetings and contribute professional input on speech and language goals.
- Provide consultation and professional development to school staff regarding communication disorders and strategies.
- Comply with Indiana Department of Education and district-specific procedures and guidelines.
Qualifications:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology or Communication Disorders from an accredited program.
- Valid Indiana State License in Speech-Language Pathology (or eligibility).
- Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC) from ASHA preferred; Clinical Fellowship (CF) candidates welcome.
- Indiana Department of Education (IDOE) license or ability to obtain a Communication Disorders License for school-based practice.
- Knowledge of IDEA, IEP development, and school-based service delivery models.
- Excellent communication, organization, and interpersonal skills.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with school-aged children.
- Familiarity with assistive technology and augmentative communication devices.
Work Environment:
- School-based setting across elementary, middle, or high school levels.
- Travel between school sites may be required depending on district placement.
