Anne SommerAnne Sommer, AuD, CCC-A, CPS/A, is a clinical assistant professor at Purdue University. Since 2009, Dr. Sommer’s responsibilities include clinical education of audiology, graduate students in addition to managing the university Hearing Conservation Program. Dr. Sommer previously served a three year term on the ASHA Audiology Advisory Council (AAC). She is a member of the ASHA Committee of Ambassadors (CoA) since 2021. Additionally, Dr. Sommer served as the ISHA Past Vice President for Audiology and an active participant in Legislative Day activities at the Indiana Statehouse. She is passionate about hearing loss prevention efforts as a CAOHC Course Director as well as professional advocacy at the state and national level. In her spare time, she enjoys singing and playing ukulele with a local community choir.
