Carolyn “Carrie” Wade, MS, CCC-SLP, is a 2013 graduate from Purdue University. She has been an ISHA member since 2011, recognizing the importance of professional advocacy at the state level. Carrie also served as ISHA Secretary from 2016-2020 and as President Elect from 2020-2022.
Carrie is currently a visiting clinical assistant professor at Indiana University, supervising students in the university clinic, coordinating medical externships for graduate students and guest lecturing for graduate clinical method courses. She specializes in adult neuro and adult dysphagia management and has worked across the continuum of care, including acute care, inpatient rehab, outpatient and long-term care settings. Carrie has also presented at the state level on various medical speech-language pathology topics.
