Technology Requirements

Technology Requirements for Online Events

Please review each of the technology-related guidelines for the conference. Making sure that you understand and comply with these technology requirements is incredibly important.

  • We will be using the Zoom video conferencing platform for the conference. Google Chrome is the recommended Zoom browser. Please download Google Chrome here:

  • Please download Zoom software here. You do not need to create an account to access the conference.

  • Unless you are a presenter, you will NOT need a functional computer microphone or webcam to participate.

  • Please test your Wi-Fi to ensure that it is has the capability to provide you a quality conference experience. Zoom recommends that you have AT LEAST 1.5 Mbps download speed for Zoom to work effectively. Please test it here: and click on "Start Broadband Speed Test."

  • In order to ensure that you have the most stable internet connection during the conference, please consider connecting directly to your internet using an ethernet cable. For more instructions on this, please click here:
