She earned her M.A. in Communication Disorders from Indiana University in 1995. Karyn works for Nineveh-Hensley-Jackson School Corporation, otherwise known as Indian Creek. She services preschool and elementary students. Karyn states “One area of passion for me is supervision, as I enjoy working with new SLPs as they gain footing in our challenging and rewarding field. “ She has been a practicing SLP for 25 years.
Karyn’s favorite benefit of being an ISHA member: “I enjoy the opportunities for effecting change which ISHA provides, and enjoyed serving as the ASHA SEAL and a member of the Eligibility Guidelines committee prior to stepping down for personal reasons. I would encourage all SLPs to be members of ISHA because the group provides us a voice at the state level on so many important issues.”
Thank you Karyn for being an ISHA Member!
